Kahuna
bodywork training begins with the understanding of the Self.
The practitioners are provided with a vehicle to expand, express and
ultimately transform themselves.
From this understanding they learn how to enable others to create
transformation within themselves.

This
bodywork originated in Hawaii and was performed by the Kahunas within
the the temples. The kahunas were the priest/scholars of Hawaiian
culture and this bodywork evolved from the knowledge of a nature based
society by observing and developing an effective way to deliver
treatments.
The training for this bodywork is physically based and is similar to
martial art
exercise in it’s emphasis on focus and body awareness.
All our bodywork performers are trained in Hawaii by Kahu Abraham
Kawai’i, a Kahuna of ancient lineage. We are committed to
ongoing training to develop our skills and knowledge.
The bodywork covers many massage modalities (swedish, therapeutic,
remedial and deep tissue ) . It’s difference lies in the
training, we are trained to move and
apply leverage whilst working on you.
Your body is a script that tells the story of your life’s
journey.
The performer of the bodywork tailors the session to the script of your
body.
The treatments are relaxing and energising the flowing movements
stimulate blood flow, unblock stagnant energy and create movement in
the body.
It can effectively alleviate particular body problems such as neck,
shoulder,
back aches and sciatica or simply deliver a session that will be very
relaxing.
